Follow the Road to the Final Four all month long with an updating bracket and TV schedule
After two exciting weeks of NCAA Tournament action that began with 68 teams, we are down to four that will compete in Glendale, Arizona, for ultimate bragging rights. The Final Four features a blend of powerhouses, newcomers and underdogs, all seeking college basketball’s ultimate prize.
No. 1 seed Purdue will face No. 11 seed NC State in the first national semifinal on Saturday (6:09 p.m. ET on TBS, TNT). The Boilermakers are coming off a thrilling 72-66 win over Tennessee behind 40 points and 16 rebounds from star big man Zach Edey. The Wolfpack advanced to their first Final Four since 1983 with a 76-64 win over the Blue Devils.
No. 1 overall seed and reigning national champion UConn will then face No. 4 seed Alabama in the second national semifinal (-8:49 p.m. ET on TBS, TNT). The Crimson Tide are making their first Final Four appearance in program history after knocking off No. 6 seed Clemson in the Elite Eight. Meanwhile, UConn continued its tournament dominance with a 77-52 win over No. 3 seed Illinois. The Huskies have won all 10 tournament games dating back to last season by double digits. UConn could become the first team in nearly two decades to repeat as national champions since Florida in 2006 and 2007.
