WASHINGTON, D.C.– Magomed Magomedkerimov desires in on PFL’s latest acquisition.
After winning the 2023 PFL featherweight title, Magomedkerimov (33-6) is intending to be done contending under the promo’s season format and wishes to carry on to the one-off Bellator battles. PFL just recently acquired competing promo Bellator and will continue to run it all at once with their standard season.
“I’m absolutely searching for something more intriguing, more title challengers like Jason Jackson due to the fact that I currently had 16 battles in PFL, and I’ve basically done all that I can reveal,” Magomedkerimov informed MMA Junkie through an interpreter. “I’m searching for the next level.”
Magomedkerimov sent Sadibou Sy (16-6-2) this previous Friday to declare the 2023 PFL featherweight title on the primary card of 2023 PFL Championship at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. This was his 2nd PFL title win, as he initially won the belt back in 2018.
After his win, Magomedkerimov took on versus Bellator welterweight champ Jason Jackson. Magomedkerimov is thrilled at the chance of dealing with Jackson in early 2024, and wishes to continue down that course of battles beyond the PFL’s season format.
“I’m extremely delighted about dealing with Jason Jackson next due to the fact that he’s a champ,” Magomedkerimov stated. “For me, I basically battled everyone in PFL and this is the next level. I’m actually anticipating him and getting my 2nd belt from the Bellator champ.”
