Simply when you believe you’ve seen it all in MMA, you recognize you’ve hardly scratched the surface area.
Thursday at Open Fighting Championships 36 in St. Petersberg, Russia, an all-time odd minute took place when among the on-duty cameramen got stuck in the cage, where he stayed for a couple of seconds throughout live action.
The occurrence happened at the start of the 4th round of an expert flyweight title bout in between Gadzhimurad Gairbekov (5-0) and Dilshot Norkuziev (3-1).
The shift angle panned down from the rafters, however when the cam moved to the regular, above-cage visual, something was not. A big wire ranged from one side of the cage to the other, as the fighters toppled to the canvas.
The referee observed what was incorrect, called timeout, and absolutely informed the camerman to exit. When the videographer ran out the cage, the action resumed precisely where it ended.
