Fighters will no longer be cycling on Pelotons when checking out the UFC Performance Institute.
UFC CEO Dana White required all of the workout devices made by the New York-based business eliminated from his health clubs after comic Theo Von informed him that Peloton required that a previous episode of his podcast needed to be eliminated. According to Von, Peloton was a sponsor for his program and he was informed to remove an interview he published with governmental prospect Robert Kennedy Jr., which led to White knocking the business together with their CEO Barry McCarthy.
“So Peloton, what do they offer f ****** stationary bicycles?” White stated throughout the podcast. “Peloton offers stationary bicycles and they’ve got an issue with Robert f ****** Kennedy? F *** you, Peloton. Who the f *** are they? Are you f ****** joking me? F ****** Peloton calling and b ****** about Robert Kennedy.
“Let’s see Barry McCarthy. Oh f ****** Barry McCarthy appears like that guy, 100 percent. He appears like a douchebag.”
White then employed Craig Borsari, the UFC’s executive vice president of operations and productions, to inform him that all Peloton bikes needed to be gotten rid of from the health club.
“Do we have Pelotons in the health club? Are those Pelotons? We’re eliminating them,” White stated. “We’re eliminating the Pelotons. Pelotons run out the fitness center. That’s what you do. You stop f ****** utilizing their items and f *** them.
