Mark Chamberlain vs. Joshua Wahab
Round 1: Chamberlain and Wahab meet in the middle, Chamberlain goes to jab, Wahab answers with a lunging body punch. Another body shot lands for Wahab. He’s sticking with the body work as Chamberlain looks for an opening to counter. Good jab by Chamberlain. Chamberlain with a body shot now, there’s one more by Wahab. He keeps throwing that right to Chamberlain’s midsection. Chamberlain corners Wahab, but can’t land anything. Glancing right over the top by Chamberlain. Left hand on the money catches Wahab and down he goes! Whoa, out of nowhere. Wahab answers the count, but he can’t be in good shape. Chamberlain patiently stalking. He fires off a combination as Wahab is backed into the corner and Wahab slumps to the mat. Out cold.

Moses Itauma vs. Ilija Mezencev
Round 1: Mezencev wisely trying to establish the jab, but Itauma just out-quicks him and lands a looping right. Itauma working the jab now to set up his power. He’s letting his left hand go, Mezencev staying cautious. Itauma cutting off the ring. He’s throwing hard, but Mezencev hasn’t been caught by anything too bad. Thirty seconds left in the round, Mezencev steps forward and just eats a full-force left. He’s rocked and Itauma pushes him down, no knockdown. There’s the bell, luckily for Mezencev.

Round 2: Itauma just loading up that left hand. Mezencev advances, but he eats a cracking left for his troubles. Down he goes. He’s back up and wobbling badly. The referee takes a good look at Mezencev, he can’t continue.

Frank Sanchez vs. Agit Kabayel
Round 1: Kabayel pushing forward early. Sanchez wants to keep him back with his jab, but Kabayel is already headhunting. This one might not last long the way they’re firing. The action settles down as Kabayel continues to pursue Sanchez. Kabayel just marches into a right hand from Sanchez. Jab down the middle by Sanchez. Kabayel punches the body. Sanchez jabs and then initiates a clinch. Mucky exchange against the ropes. Sanchez with a glancing uppercut as the round closes.

Round 2: Sanchez gets a warning for grabbing to start this round. That doesn’t stop the fighters from getting tangled up again. Kabayel advances with his jab. Sanchez keeping his gloves high, but Kabayel sneaks in an uppercut with Sanchez cornered. Right to the body by Kabayel. Kabayel winning the jab duel now. Sanchez leaning on the ropes, waiting to counter. Sanchez clips the body. Kabayel with a body combo. Sanchez firing his right at Kabayel’s defenses, Kabayel answers with his right hand. All Kabayel this round.

Round 3: Kabayel drives a right hand in as Sanchez continues to back up to the ropes. Sanchez punches the body. Uppercut just misses for Sanchez. Kabayel back to the body. Sanchez still searching for an opening for his big right. Jab by Sanchez. Kabayel patiently working the body before going back to the uppercut. Two good body rips by Kabayel, then a 1-2 up top. Tie-up by Sanchez, he’s really struggling to get going.

Round 4: Kabayel jabs his way in and hits the body. Sanchez goes to the body to respond. He can’t keep Kabayel off of him though. Kabayel getting closer with his power punches. Right hand from Sanchez pushes Kabayel back. Jabs by Kabayel. Kabayel with a combo to the body capped off by a high right. The volume of Kabayel is giving Sanchez problems.

Round 5: Kabayel lands an uppercut and Sanchez is laboring. He’s not showing much as Kabayel walks him down. Kabayel throwing freely. Target practice for Kabayel, though he’s respecting Sanchez’s KO power. Pawing jabs by both men. Kabayel lands a body shot. He sticks the body as Sanchez retreats. Not exactly a thriller.

Round 6: Kabayel immediately walks Sanchez to the corner. He tries to punch his way out, but Kabayel has him scouted. Kabayel peppering him with short shots, giving him no room to maneuver. This is just not Sanchez’s night. Body shot from Kabayel drops Sanchez. He answers the count, but does not look like he wants to be in there. Kabayel on the hunt with a minute to work. Kabayel back to the body and down goes Sanchez again. Sanchez slow to rise and that’s it.

Joe Cordina vs. Anthony Cacace
Round 1: Cacace takes the center of the ring, Cordina looking to work from outside. Cacace with a few range-finding jabs, nothing getting through. He’s sticking with it and one splits Cordina’s guard. Cordina flashes a fast jab. Good counter jab by Cordina and he follows with a hook to the body. Cacace lands a clean right body shot. Jab scores for Cacace. There’s another good one for the challenger. Cordina with a body rip.

Round 2: The champ starts off with a nice three-punch combo. Cacace keeping his guard high and tight, he answers with a flurry as he chases Cordina. Cordina fires a right to the body. He’s the aggressor now. Cordina with another good 1-1-2. Cacace steps forward and lands a hard right. Cordina punches his way out of the corner. He’s coming forward now. Cordina blocks a combo and connects with a jab. Cordina scores with a right hook. He keeps going to the body to loosen Cacace up. Cordina’s hands are low and Cacace makes him pay with a right hand.

Round 3: Cacace still working to establish his jab. He sneaks in a body shot, then follows with more punches to the middle. Great aggression from Cacace in this round. Cordina jabs and goes on the attack. Referee calls for a break as the fighters grapple and Cacace connects with a clean left hand on Cordina’s chin. Awkward moment, for sure. They reset, and Cacace really cracks Cordina with a left now. He smells blood and he’s putting leather on Cordina now with 90 seconds left in the round. Cordina connects with a counter left. Cacace throwing with Cordina cornered, an uppercut breaks through and drops Cordina! He answers the count but there’s a lot of time left, 45 seconds in the round. Cacace going all in with Cordina on the ropes. Cordina just trying to survive. Cacace attacks but Cordina is saved by the bell. Yikes.

Round 4: Cacace right back on the offensive. He goes to to the body, then lands a left hook, Cordina answers with a hook of his own. Cacace wants this finish bad, he’s trying top unch through Cordina’s gloves. Cordina lands two good hooks and Cacace definitely felt those. Cordina pushing forward with that jab. Cacace wants to attack the body but he runs into a Cordina left hook. Cordina staying mindful of Cacace’s power. Jab up top by Cacace. Big bounce-back round for the champ.

Round 5: Cordina wants to walk Cacace down, but Cacace is keeping that output high. They trade jabs. Good uppercut by Cordina. Cacace sticking inside, mucking this up. Cordina lands a left hook. They’re scrapping in close and someone’s mouthpiece just fell out. Cacace with a 1-2 on the reset. He’s drawing Cordina into a dirty fight. Right hook from Cacace catches Cordina coming in.

Round 6: Cordina jabs at Cacace’s gloves, daring him to make the first move in this round. More dirty boxing as they get in each other’s faces. Cacace lands another left hook as the referee asks for a half-hearted separation. Not the best officiating you’ll see. Cacace hunts with an uppercut inside. He whiffs on one and Cacace makes him pay with a counter left. Short right hand by Cacace. He is throwing home run shots with Cordina on the back foot. Cacace doubles up on his uppercut. Cordina keeping his gloves high, but some of these power punches are definitely getting through. Cacace with more uppercuts and a big finish to the sixth.

Round 7: Cacace staying right in Cordina’s face. He wants a brawl and Cordina isn’t accommodating. Cacace snaps Cordina’s head back with an uppercut. More punches from Cacace, Cordina with a counter right on the button, but Cacace isn’t slowing down one bit. He wants to land that home-run blow. Left hand scores for Cacace. He’s mixing up his punches beautifully and Cordina is in trouble. Cordina punches his way off the ropes, showing signs of life. Counter right by Cordina lands. He’s finding openings. Cacace just continues to bully him though. Right hand from Cordina. Close round.

Round 8: They immediately go head to head in the middle of the ring, both firing uppercuts. Cacace pushes Cordina back, the champion struggling to answer. As Cacace starts to pick him apart, the referee steps in for the stoppage. Cordina just wasn’t defending effectively. No protest from the now-former champion.
