The streets of San Francisco were apparently tidied up before President Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping shown up for the existing Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation top, however not totally, it appears, as on Monday a public tv news team was supposedly robbed at gunpoint.
Press Reporter Bohumil Vostal and a team from Czech outlet ČT24 were doing a standup in front of famous Beat-era center City Lights book shop when, according to a regional Fox affiliate mentioning cops, “a car stopped on the street, and 3 armed guys with guns left the cars and truck and approached the group. The suspects required their production devices, and the victims complied.”
The attackers sped off, and the Czech team was unhurt and, it appears, undeterred.
“Thank you quite for the assistance we got in ČT news,” Vostal composed on X. “We’ll keep shooting. We are here for the United States President’s top with the Chinese leader. And we’ll exist (as constantly) for CT.”
